The study was conducted over three competitive rowing seasons, involving a cohort of 50 American male rowers diagnosed with chronic back pain. Participants were divided into three groups, each receiving a different treatment regimen: Group A underwent traditional physical therapy, Group B utilized a combination of physical therapy and targeted strength training, and Group C employed a holistic approach that included physical therapy, strength training, and mindfulness techniques such as yoga and meditation.
